Phoenix Sister Cities hosted a two-day Trilateral Trade Conference on April 15 and 16, 2021 that connected businesses in sister cities Calgary, Phoenix and Hermosillo.
Registrants represented 20 Canadian businesses, 11 Mexican businesses and 35 US businesses. Organizations represented included GPEC, MAG and six sister cities organizations (including the Chair of the Board of Sister Cities International). In addition, on behalf of Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, Phoenix Sister Cities presented the Mayor’s Export Awards during day one of the conference. The Mayor’s Export Awards highlight individuals or businesses in the community that demonstrate export excellence and are helping to advance the Phoenix export economy.
